Tigger the Dog needs a home
Tigger is as bouncy and full of life as the character by that name in Winnie the Pooh. He's an active, friendly, vocal boy with a distinctive bark. Tigger is very sweet and full of personality. He enjoys being with people and loves snuggling up with Dogtown volunteers. He loves walks, does well on leash and enjoys playing with other dogs at the Sanctuary. He's also smart and enjoys learning new things, including agility training.As you might expect from his name, Tigger can be mouthy and jumpy when he's excited. He can bounce right over fences, too. He can be anxious in new situations and when left alone, but he does fine when he's around other dogs he knows. When he walks near another dog on leash, however, he can be reactive. At Dogtown, Tigger's been working on keeping all four feet on the floor and sitting nicely when cued. He's also been doing training on walks to help with his reactivity, and he's been doing very well with it. Born in 2016, Tigger came to the Sanctuary from local animal control and is looking for his own active home.
